Our goal is to provide you with the very best fishing equipment at affordable prices along with the finest customer service you will find in the fishing industry.  I am the previous owner of Chaos Rod Company and I have been building fishing rods, completely outfitting sport fishing boats and helping thousands of satisfied customers since 1989. When you are ready for a new fishing rod to add to your collection, or if you have any questions at all about setting up your new boat, give us a call and let our experts help you get the right equipment

Brian and Harold of Connely Fishing will be showing us how to make fishing rods.   They will be bringing the materials needed to make a fishing rod.

Steve Krampetz reports:

Day 1 of the in-house fishing tounament produced some surprising results. The seas were like glass. No chop or waves at all. But it was H O T ! ! temps in the 90's and not much of a breeze. Capt. Jaime Lomeli turned in 2 keeper Dolphin to the scales. They were caught in 500 feet off Boynton Inlet. The crew of Ken Soren...sen , Pete Lomuto, and Steve Krampetz reported over a dozen big, Non-qualifying Bonita, and Steve hooked up 2 sailfish. the 1st was an acrobat, jumping more than 9 times before spooling the reel and breaking off. But the second one lost the battle with Steve and was boated. a beautiful fish weighing over 57 lbs and 76 inches from bill to inside the tail. So those are the numbers for day 1.

Day 2 of our 2 day July 30th and 31st Boynton Beach Fishing Club In-House Off Shore Fishing Tournament. As with friday, the weather was beautiful, but warm. Flat seas and no weed line meant you had to just pick your favorite spots to fish and hope for the best. Big Bonita were everywhere, with some exceeding 20 lbs. A bunch were caught on Ray Base's boat, but no tournament eligable fish were brought to the scales. Joe Deithorns crew also reported lots of Bonita action, but they managed to catch a couple of nice Mutton Snapper as well. So another enjoyable fishing tournament is officially in the books.

Final Results:  In our Junior Anglers division, Awards were given to Justin Deithorn, Zachary and Alexis Manney. Congratulation to all of them. And in the Adult Division, Third place went to Joanne Deithorn with a 2.29 lb Mutton Snapper, Second place was earned by John Springer who turned in another Mutton Snapper which weighed 2.99 lbs. And the first place went to... Me. Steve Krampetz. Yep. After all the years of fishing these tournaments, without scoring the top three ever, I finally caught the Big One!  It was a beautiful Sailfish, weighing in excess of 57 lbs. Following the final weigh-in we all had a great Cook-out of bugers and Hot Dogs and great salads and desserts supplied by the wives and friends of many members. Capt. Jaime ran the grill, and we all enjoyed the food, friendship, and the love of fishing. Also, by the way, this time we added a Fishing and Boating Flea Market, open to the public, next to our Awards Pavillion. Pete Lomuto was in charge and with the Donations supplied by some of our members, we were able to bring in over $220 to be used for our Annual Members Christmas Party in December. The Club would like to say "Thank You" to all our Members who donated to the Flea Market, and to the Members who Donated their time to make this another successful Tournament.
